Fellow Cyclists and Friends,

As many of you know, last year my family and I organized a benefit
bicycle race for underprivileged kids in Peru. While I expected this to
be a wonderful day, we were moved beyond words as to the powerful and
humbling experience that was shared by everyone who attended,
contributed, and read about the day. We were able to give so much to so
many and change the lives of kids of all ages for one bright day.

I am so very happy to announce that the tradition will continue! This
year, the race will take place on February 17 again in my homeland of
Peru.

The bike race event is an opportunity to bring families and friends
together, promoting sportsmanship and healthy elements of fun and
competition. To learn more about the race, visit:

La Clasica Diaz is hoping to provide this great experience to even more
families and needs your help. A small donation goes a very long way
toward making the day memorable for everyone. If you can help, please
visit our donation page: http://www.laclasicadiaz.com/donate.html

Thank you all for your help and contribution. Please check the website
for updates as the event unfolds.

With great thanks,

Ty Diaz

I was in Arequipa last year, sorry I wasn't there at race time. This is one of the best things I've seen on this forum. Keep up the good work!:)

Thank you!
Watching kids go crazy fast on a bike with no gears or anything boosts my energy to continue on riding. Especially now with the way our sport and some professionals are going, the focus should be on the future of the sport, the kids. I can't wait to get there and experience this all over again.
