I am in the process of switching the handlebars on my 'roller from standard drops with shimano slx levers ( front brake only ), to bulhorns. The bullhorns I purchased came with a bar end lever but I do not like reach out to the end to tap the brake for maneuvers. I know some people use small brake levers mounted on the top of their track drops and I am thinking I would like to do the same. The bullhorns have been a great help on climbs and I would like to keep them.
Does anyone have something that they really like? Open to ideas. Thanks

since mine was set up for vbrakes. I used to have mtn levers but didn't feel very comfortable.

Keep in mind where your hands will be most of the time. When I ride, my hands sit on the bar ends. Every time I had to brake, I had to move my hands to the flats. You have to be pretty quick sometimes in order to break... That's why I moved to the 287V's.

I use Tekro cyclocross lever on my fixed gear with no problem. They cost about $25.00
