View Full Version : hill intervals or meet the girls for wine after work?
gutfiddle 01-22-2008, 11:32 AM i have been all geared up to bike up and down the local hill today until i found out a friend of mine is moving to NY and wants her friends to join her for a glass of vino after work, its always something distracting me from exercising and eating right, arrggghhh
Chain 01-22-2008, 11:34 AM The hills will be there tomorrow...
gutfiddle 01-22-2008, 11:35 AM yeah but tommorrow is our weds night club ride, easy pace w/ a few sprints and couple pints of warsteiner at the end. its a loosing battle:cryin:
paint 01-22-2008, 11:37 AM Easier to stick to a workout schedule if you make time for the ride in the morning. There will always be something to do in the afternoon/evening.
roadfix 01-22-2008, 11:37 AM This is a no-brainer.....
hills, of course.

Is this really a difficult decision for you?
Keeping up with Junior 01-22-2008, 11:42 AM Just choose which mounds and valleys will be more fun. Wear a raincoat if you think it will be wet. Enjoy navigating your way through the forest!
cdhbrad 01-22-2008, 11:48 AM Gutfiddle: Thought you said you were from Merritt Island? Only "hills" I've ever seen over your way are the bridges over the Intercoastal. Personally, I'd leave the bike at home and join your friends.
gutfiddle 01-22-2008, 11:48 AM i'm not skipping my workout, i'll just go hard and fast and meet up w/ them afterwards, they should be good and limber by then.

I live in Cape Canaveral and work in Rockledge so yes "hills" are causeways:p

ahh pheromones, i might just swing by w/out going home and gettin all spiffy'd up. course that means ugly stares from the troglodytes.
Just the fact that you had to ask this question makes me wonder if you were quite as smart as I first thought.
cdhbrad 01-22-2008, 12:19 PM Your hills are taller than ours.... we just have overpasses at I-75.
mohair_chair 01-22-2008, 12:25 PM I would suggest that if you have to ask, then it doesn't matter.
FrontRanger 01-22-2008, 12:30 PM I'm with Paint. Work out in the morning. Never pass up an opportunity to be some hot girls mistake......
