my bike has 105 components and am wanting to purchase another rear cassette due to a wheel upgrade. my rear cassette indicates it is a CS HG 50-9 and it is a 12-25T. Will any Shimano 9 speed Ultregra or 105 cassette work as a replacement?

Thank you so much

If you are running 9 speed you will be fine with Ultegra or 105 9 speed cassettes. Depending on the type of rear mech (short/long) the size of cassette you get could be an issue. But if you are getting another 12-25 you will be fine.

"Will any Shimano 9 speed Ultregra or 105 cassette work as a replacement?" - Yes (also DA and Tiagra).

You may have to use a longer or shorter chain depending on how it was sized.

Any Shimano 9-speed cassette will work. All of Shimano's 9-speed cassette use the same splines, spacing, and cog width.
