Just bought some continental sprinter tubulars for my williams cycling 38's and i'm not sure I need valve extenders? I'm assuming I do but I wanted to check with others before ordering some. Thanks.

Will need to buy tubes with long valves. Greater that 42 mm. The 60 mm extra longs will look too long. These are much better than a standard valve with an extender.

Since you really have no chioce what valve you get with tubular tires you may need Valve extenders. I prefer the ones where you remove the core and move it outward onto the extender (Vittoria and Tufo). Any bike shop that orders from QBP will be able to get them for you. Vittoria comes in one size, Tufo comes in three.

thanks guys. I spoke with williams cycling and they were suppose to have included the extenders with my wheels and they forgot. They put some in the mail to me. My question I guess was do tubies have different options on stem length, this is my first pair but you just answered it.
