Is there a big difference in riding on 700x23 versus 700x22 tires? I'm considering buying some Vittoria Open All-Weather clinchers to replace the Bontragers that came with my Trek bike. Do the 700x22 fit the same wheel as the 700x22?

Because the way manufactures measure the width of tires, the widths vary widely. I have seen 25's that are the same width as another 23's. So I would not worry about a 1mm difference.

The Vittorias are race tires that wear pretty quickly, and are prone to punctures and have a cotton casing.

RRR,

These would be THE proper all weather road tires.

Open pave evo CG.

Expensive, but worth it.
