Hi all

I have a triathlon (Ironman) next month on a reasonably flat course which large. slow chip. I have two (not ideal) wheel options, and was wondering which would be quicker.
American Classics 420s standard (clinchers) - 2 years old
vs
Mavic Kysriums SL (standard - clinchers) - 3 years old.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

those kysrium's are not know for being very aerodynamic, I would think the 420 wheelset would be more aero and maybe lighter depending on the build, the kysrium's were never as light as mavic claimed
of course from a reliabilty stand point the Mavic's are pretty bombproof and the hubs dont blow up. Still i would probably take the Am Calssics in a race against the clock.
