Anyone else having a hard time getting their SuperSix? I ordered mine around the middle of December (frameset with SL cranks) and have yet to hear anything. The LBS keeps calling the "rep" who has no idea what is taking so long.

Same here. My super six in pearl white is in the shop, however the SL cranksets are on back order. My LBS was given an ETA of early February, however I think it's going to be late February and maybe into March.

Fortunately, the weather has been atrocious but has been changing lately. The pearl white is absolutely gorgeous and the red decals are really dark crimson red, not at all like the red on the Six 13.

I guess I got lucky. I ordered mine from LBS at the end of December. I was told it wouldn't be here until mid February, but it came in January. I talked to a C'dale rep at the Tour de Palm Springs, and he said that there was a little bit of a hold on production until the buyout went through. Things should pick up now.

You will LOVE the ride. I just did my first century on my new Super on Saturday. Great bike.

BTW, The company line on the buyout is that it will be good for buying power, production, etc. No talk of moving toward the big box category, but time will tell.

We ordered all of ours a long time ago and ended up getting some of the first ones out of the molds. I have had the DAs and the Team liqui gas in stock since well before Thanksgiving.

The cranks are hard to come by.......................especially in black.

Once an order is placed you go to the back of the line on that size, model, and color. Our custom Super and System sixes will be shipping mid feb/soon. I'd imagine once the team orders are done the can puch out stock ones at full steam.

As for the buyout.................this is not the first time they have been bought nor will it be the last. They have more money for R&D and marketing now. Nothing will change, Dorel says that Cannondale will exclusively be IBD not chain/box stores. They (cannondale) have a lot of stuff up there sleeve in terms of new product and marketing. No one made a big deal when a majority of SpEcIaLiZeD and Trek were bought.
