i'm considering purchasing(getting on the wait list) for a cervelo r2.5 and wanted to get input from anyone that has actually ridden one....i know they're light and good climbers but how rigid are they at the bottom bracket? if you really hammer 'em how much do they flex? are they only climbers or would you would you consider them an all round bike? i'm only 150lbs so don't think my weight should be an issue but i don't want a noodle of a bike...also any input on the handling would be appreciated...thanks for your time

I'm 200 lbs and don't race but I don't detect any flex. Very smooth riding and light. Not the highest build quality but for the price (hundreds less than other carbon frames) it's a great ride and your not likely to see many others on the road. Cervelo has announced a new and lighter version at a slightly higher price but I don't know when they are due.

Are'nt they like 2 grand just for the frame? Hell, you can get a Giant,Trek or a few others that are good complete bikes for 2500 bucks.
