Well, two-time Dauphine Libéré winner Lance Armstrong had no problem riding one of those right off the bat. More pics at the link :D

man either you got REALLY long legs or you somehow miscalculated on the stand-over height

See those around Chicago all the time. Absolutely an eye turner. Wouldn't ride one fixed though. I can't trackstand that well.

Was thinking the same thing... OTOH, what choice do you have? Kinda inconvenient to carry a ladder around for the mount and dismount. Fixed might make the most sense.

Sure wouldn't want to try the front brake.

Actually if you flip over the handlebars, you might be able to make a soft landing since you're so much higher. You could technically do a full flip and land on your feet.

Totally anti-theft bike though.

See...that'd make a great crit bike. Just take a look at the pedal clearance for hammering through those tight corners.

I wouldn't trust that in a crit

Don't worry I know you were being sarcastic

very carefully.

Tall bikes usually have a pin or other bit sticking out from the frame somewhere for stepping up. Get the thing moving, step on step, other foot on pedal, swing leg over and ride.
