MG537 02-20-2008, 10:06 AM Just browsing through the title in this forum I came across "Mr. 19%".
I thought you were referring to some cyclist's EPO levels. At 19% he must be pretty anemic.
Joe Biker 02-20-2008, 10:25 AM 19% ? Hmm almost as good as the approval rating fo the Democratic US Congress. I hate politicians Left, Right or indifferent.

actually, that number reflects Congress as a whole. The Dems in Congress poll somewhat higher.

No, that is not how the poll question is/was asked.
The fact is, the poll was taken as a whole not based upon the approval of individual congressional members.
The Harris Poll. Feb. 6-10, 2008. N=1,030 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.
The question asked was:
"How would you rate the overall job the Congress is doing: excellent, pretty good, only fair, or poor?"
2/6-10/08
20% - Excelent/Pretty Good
76% Fair/Poor
4% Unsure

for someone who "hate(s) politicians Left, Right or indifferent.", you seem pretty interested in politics.

Yeah, so what's your point? Please do not confuse disgust for politics with being disinterested in it. They have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
I detest politics, politicians and how people on both sides of the 50 yard line twist stats, facts, and truths for their own benefit.
rufus 02-20-2008, 12:32 PM right, but other polls which have differentiated the parties reveal those results.

That's fair enough, so in that case please post your reference.
MikeBiker 02-20-2008, 12:59 PM I can't understand why McCain doesn't do more photo ops with Bush.

He, along with the rest of us, can't seem to locate him. Gimme a minute and I'll check the milk carton in my fridge.

Not only that, I have listened to the vast majority of the debates and I think I have yet to hear Bush's name spoken even once!!
Obama in a landslide!!

on both sides of the aisel that Bush has become the worst president in modern history...
I have noticed the same thing...repub. candidates go straight to Regan referrals..
I love how McCain has polarized the right...makes me think Obama will even garner repub votes simply to spite him...or not vote at all which helps the same outcome since the democratic base is ramped to the max lately....
