I'm shocked, shocked I say that these politicians are using their influence to get money. Just seems like the party of moral and family values have been doing it a lot more lately.

Spyderman mentioned this in a topic earlier. We're starting to see Would he be eligible for a Presidential pardon? He's out of his job, so it will be interesting to see if the Democrats gain another Congressional seat.
He has been under investigation in '06, right in the middle his close election race. The local United States attorney was investigating him for corruption. The investigation slowed before Election Day, Mr. Renzi retained his seat, and investigating US attorney was fired — one of the group purged by the White House and the Justice Department.
