Does anyone have the scoop on what is going on with the MAxxis Cup Series for the Southeast? (i.e. the series of races that is like a mini, amateur world cup for three different regions in the US).

The Midwest and the New York regions have already finished, and the point standings have been updated all season long, but the Southeast has not been updated since April and I can't get any replies to my emails. A google/yahoo search turns up nothing either.

So has anyone here heard if the southeast series was cancelled?

The series is still going on as far as I know. Check out the info. at www.georgiavelo.com. From the email links, try to email Wes, the promoter.The last race was in July. I think there may be another one next month or in October. I'll post an update at www.southeasterncycling.com if I find anything.
