I'm 5'10" 155lbs and ridden mountain bikes all my life even though I do not have much knowledge on them. I am looking for my first road bike and looking to get into the road cycling fun. I'm looking to spend no more than about $1200 to $1500 but actually have no clue as to where to start. Can ya'll give me some ideas of bikes that are either less than that price or around there that would be good or great bikes. My plan is to ride about 3-4 times a week and possibly start riding some with the cycling clubs int he area. Also I know I need to get fitted but about what size would be close for me? Also i'm open for any suggestions you may have. thanks in advance

There are plenty of great choices in that price range, for new and used bikes.
