Guess they gave him his own talk show now. Forget the name since I was channel surfing. Buchanan and some Clinton spokesman were debating Kerry's war record and whether the accounts in the Unfit to Serve book were true or not. Basically Buchanan chose to believe the book entirely even though the facts contradicted it and made the author an obvious liar. Seems that the only people who claim bad things about Kerry either didn't serve with him or were nowhere near him at the time he got the purple hearts/bronze star or they had some kind of vendetta against him. By the time I was done I gave that book Newsmax reliabilty at best. Funny thing though--Buchanan kept railing and ranting about Kerry that it makes you wonder how much thought he actually gave to anything and how controlled by his emotions and predjudices he was.

One big lie, that WAY TOO MANY people are propigating is the "Kerry served for 4 months" line.
That was his SECOND tour, people.
So, who is spreading this? Just about everyone. Here are two lists:

Sad, sad, sad. Basic errors in fact, that any RESPONSIBLE journalist should not make.
Now, where is that liberal press?

All the facts, or only some of the facts? Should we pull the books of Richard Clarke or any number of Bush-bashers off the shelves since they've been found to contain inaccuracies? Or Hillary's or Bill's books? Let's squash anti-Bush 527 groups like MoveOn, George Soros, etc. How about Moore's crockumentary, Fahrenheit 9/11? Let's censor that one, too.
When all else fails, send in the lawyers to silence dissent. Sounds like the Republicans don't have a monopoly on fascist/nazi/stalinist/etc. tactics.

only the facts that allege Kerry didn't serve with honor. I've not read the book to know what else is in it.

On to something of greater importance! :)
I just switched to Campy ProFit pedals last week (Speedplay X2's, preceded by Looks b4 that). Me likey! I received an unexpected store credit, which was like "found" money, so I got the Record PF+'s. For my other bike, I'll get Chorus.

I've got a pair of Record Profits and like them lots. Also have a pair of Chorus on my beater bike. No functional difference, but I had to pick up the Records because they were TI and had those triple sealed bearings!
