Having had bad luck with my previous tire gauges, I am now considering the Accu-Gage. I would appreciate any feedback on this gauge.

It's just a gauge. It works nice. Had it for 5 years, just don't drop it.

I just use the ones on my pumps. I can't see a need for me to use anything else.

I have an Accu-gage that I bought about 11 years ago for my old classic car (that I no longer have). Works fine. Most floor pumps come with gauges. About the only use I could see for a hand held gauge is to see if the gauge on you floor pump is accurate. The problem I have with hand held gauges is that bicycle tires have high psi's and when you go to take a reading it releases a couple of pounds of air so the measured psi reading not accurate.

I don't know if they make digital gauges for bicycles. The digital type are supposed to be most accurate, and the cost does'nt matter. It's just that the expensive models might hold up better...

I just go by what the gauge on my floor pumps says. I can tell if I need more or less air when I ride and make adjustments.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have a Nashbar Pump. I paid more that $40 for it. It works great, but the gauge is broken. I called them, and they said that a new gauge is not available.

I did not read the previous post. I think it would be a pain in the rear to use a gauge after using a floor pump. I'd bite the bullet and buy a new pump. That Joe Blow for $25.00 might do the trick.
