I need some advice on tires. I'm looking for something fast, durable and light. If that even exists. All of my riding will be on NYC streets on DT Swiss RR 1.2 rims. I'm willing to spend some money on great tires. Can anyone recommend something good?

If its clinchers - Veloflex
Tubulars - Veloflex as well
They are a very sweet riding tire and have some of he best rolling numbers out there, at least according to various tests done in labs.

Michelin Pro3 or Schwalbe Ultremo.
All the reviews I've seen for the Ultremo are positive. I ended up with Conti 4000S cause I couldn't find any Ultremo instock at the time. I did recently see a pair of Ultremos for $85, I forgot which web site. It was a WW related/targeted website.

VELOFLEX
The ride is second to none. I wouldn't call 'em durable in any sense of the word though. Yesterday I got a cut on the sidewall from a small pebble on the road. I've never seen a complete tire failure like that before.
Third flat this year.
(1) Veloflex Master (open tubular)
(2) Schwalbe Stelvio Tubular
(3) Bontrager cross tire.
I am gonna wait to the rains washes away the crap on the road before I run my high dollar tires again.
