Hi everyone
Wanted to let folks know about a 6 week clinic series I am putting on at the local YMCA, it is for folks who are maybe fit but not really comfortable riding bikes on the road (we put to together the series for all the folks who come to group cycling class but never ride outside).
What: 6 week clinic series on road cycling
When: 9-11, on the following Saturdays: Apr 12, 19, May 10, 17, 24, and 31
Where: Southwest YMCA
13500 Quito Road
Saratoga, CA 95070

In the middle of the course each participant gets 1 hour of 1-1 consultation time with me to work on whatever specific topics you need to focus on.
The first few classes will include classroom time & parking lot skills work, then we'll transition to short rides + classroom time, then the last ride will be all riding where we put together all the skills.
Non-YMCA members are welcome to participate (see notes below on fee structure for non-Y members).
Cost: $180 for YMCA members, $210 if you are already a Y program member (if you are not you'll need to get the program membership for $25).

Want to sign up? Deadline is this Thursday, and you can call the Saratoga YMCA at (408) 370-1877 to register. Class is limited to 10 participants so that I can provide each person with plenty of attention and so we keep the ride size manageable for beginners.
