I've looked into few top shops and no one has them. Some said they could get it. I could get it online as well but would like to at least see it or take it for a spin before paying so much for it. Does anyone know a shop around NYC that has Time frames in showroom?

I had seen one at Gotham (same owners as Toga) awhile back.

Appreciate replies but neither store had them. I spoke to a Cadence employee and he said they do not carry it. I walked into downtown Gotham(Toga) and they had Tarmacs, C'dales and Bianchi. They were too busy and did not ask a sales person. Toga in Nyack do not have them either. Piermont bike do not have it , but person there said they could get it. At this point I do not think anyone has it in store may be because of cost and/or demand but some carry $4600 Colnagos.
At this point I am leaning more towards look 585 ultra. See you on the road.
I'm surprised that R&A in Brooklyn doesn't carry Time since they carry (almost) all of the high -end stuff. They definitely carry Look.
Best of luck.

I work for Downeast Bicycle Specialist - a parts distribuition company that stocks the Northeast with Time frames. Where in NY/NJ do you live? I can direct you to the right store that would be able to talk to you about time, fit you correctly on a fit bike and get you the frame. Time is one of the last companies out there that makes all their product including small parts. They even braid their own tubing. There was a great article about Time and their manufacturing facility in Velonews a few year back.

It is surprising to me how under-represented both Time and LOOk are in NYC overall.

I am working on the representation in the area. I have always admired the brand, the fact that they make everything that goes into their bikes from scratch is very rear in todays bicycle manufacturing world. Time actually has a series of "more affordable frames" called the Edge that bring the MSRP $2400, still all made from scratch in France. Not an easy feet with the declining dollar vs. the Euro.

i'm a factory rep of premium products in Kitchen and bath industry and wonder how hard it is to set up new customers with a brand like time. My specialty was always "pioneering" newer products in a territory. Not easy, but exciting.
i'd be interested to have a discussion with you about setting up dealer base.
