Anyone know where to find a good deal on a Specialized Toupe Saddle 143mm in black? My LBS all have them for retail (obviously) and I'd like to find a better deal.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Ebay is going to be your best bet. I ride that same saddle and size and love it. It's worth retail if you have to pay it. Lucky for you, the black are going cheaper than the white ones.

+1 for Ebay. Got my new 143mm toupe in white for $110. There are often Buy-It-Now's for those saddles, so keep an eye out. There were 3 whites for sale, and they sold within 4-5 hours after thay were listed.

Thanks for the replies guys... Yeah I've been "watching" a TON of eBay auctions for the black Toupe in 143mm and theyre all selling around the $110 mark... Most of them are BARELY used or even new, but I was just wondering if I could find a new one for around $115. I might just have to use eBay though. Although I try to avoid it if I can.

Thanks!

Oh and btw, how do you like it yurky?? :)

I actually haven't tried it out yet because I'm finishing up my bike build. From reviews online and postings I've seen on this site, I've heard lots of positives though. Looking forward to getting on it though!

I agree, but I think ones are sold on Ebay because they can't possibly stop people from selling used and new saddles there. If they could stop people selling new ones on there, I think they would!

Except from their own website.

I just ordered a toupe from Specialized because they have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If I don't like the saddle I can send it back and I will only be out the shipping.

Paid $15 for a brand new "take-off" Toupe. Of course, it was white with pink trim, but that was just what one of my friends was looking for to match her new women's specific Trek Madone.

Toupe for $15? I'd throw some pink on my bike for that price. With the $100 you save, you can get a Pink and Strong CK headset to go with the saddle. LOL.

I've been looking for a reputable dealer to purchase the same, so far the best web store price I have been able to find is here (http://www.thetristore.com/view_product.asp?product=513&brand=6&make=Specialized) they quoted me £8 international freight. But I am still looking.

I love the Paolo Bettini model on the Specialized site. He doesn't use a Specialized saddle. :)

I got mine for 75 new, from a bike specific flea market at a velodrome. Although, you have to wait until the fall for the next one, and that doesn't mean they will have any, the one I got is white with fake carbon fiber and is the smaller one (130 something).
