I did it last year and am going again this year. Follow the race guide for suggestions for gearing. There are steep hill sections. Stay close enough to the front during the dirt sections to see the road conditions. The dirt sections should be dry, don't know if that's good or bad. The climbs rise quickly, stay with the pack. I didn't pay enough attention and a tiny gap turned into a big one and I lost the main group & got dropped. Good luck

I'm doing it for the first time tomorrow. A friend did it last year, and his advice is the same as Redliner's. It looks like it will be very warm and dry tomorrow, so I'm guessing that means it will be very fast.

Also, probably in the race guide, but...make sure your bottle cages hold tight. People are going to be losing water bottles, watch out for 'em.
