Went out and bought the park tool set and a stand.. Printed out all the info from the park site and had at it . I never did any work on my own bike but thought , how hard can it be..

Took my Pinarello F3:13 and switched to 3T Bar and stem , campy centuar w/ chorus shifters and Pinarello Tank Cranks (gift from a friend who bought prince and put Zipp cranks) Took a while getting the shifting right , but everything else was pretty easy . It did take 6 hours though. But I was a derailuir virgin and it took a while for me to get my shifting just right.

Lots of fun and the investment in the tools will pay for themselfs in a year ..

Is cable housing installation as easy as it looks (size& cut)? how long does this take?

it's all easy if your kitchen is set up properly

The housings were easy to size and cut . The only thing that is tuff the first time is the indexing . Takes a while of trial and error .

As for the smokes :
