I was at LBS and was deciding between System Six 1 and Six 13 1. I know there is a difference in the frame make up and the components were both dura ace but there was a big price difference. System 6 was $3799 and Six 13 was only $2499.
Why the big difference?

The SystemSix1 has these advantages:
Frame and fork - plus the BB30 bottom bracket
Carbon handlebars, stem, and seat post
FYI - neither one has DA brakes.

Do DA brakes make a lot of difference?

If you are asking that question then No, they don't. Use the money you save to get Kool Stop Salmon brake pads instead.
