Nothing really special here I think, just your normal build like the others on here. Campy Record, EA90 stem, posts, bars, and fork. Wheelset is a Reynolds Attack. This is my first carbon wheelset and so far no complaints yet. We'll see after a long ride on these clinchers.
The only special thing that I bought for this bike that I'd like to point out is this Parlee carbon braze-on adapter. This is the only "bling" that I would like to brag about. :D
This is definitely a lot stiffer ride than my Seven Cycles bike.
Feel free to comment, either bad or good.

Very nice - really do prefer the Astana frame as you have it without the Mavic Carbone wheelsets that everyone seems to fit. I've got the Parlee FD clamp also - very nice piece of workmanship

Thanks guys! I love the bike and I finally got the bike out for a 50 mile ride and this thing was amazing! It was totally different from my Seven Ti bike. The acceleration of the BMC was more responsive than my Seven. I think I need to get rid of my Seven.
Again, thanks for the kind words. Happy riding!

Very well done.
Big fan of the red and black 06 but this one is certainly different.

The bike looks truly fantastic. I also have a Seven (Aerios) and am seriously considering a BMC SLC when the new 09 models eventually come out. I'm verry happy with the Aerios for it's intended purpose (centuries, club rides), but was looking for something more racy for my first all carbon bike this autumn.
You mentioned that the BMC was stiffer and had beter acceleration than your Seven, can I ask which Seven model you have and what was the stiffness rating on the Seven fit chart? Thanks.

brianmccreath - As I recall it, it was only at 5. Don't get me wrong, I love the Seven but the new bike feeling will always be there and it makes it seem that you always have the perfect bike and nothing is wrong with it. You guys know what I'm talking about.
I did about 45 miles with it the other day and it felt like I'm putting less effort than my Seven. Bottom line, I have a new favorite. :D

That's what I was thinking when I bought this bike. It will be a rare color years from now. We'll just have to see I guess. :D
Thanks for the comments!

Thanks for the feedback. A BMC is definitely on the cards.

from what I've heard, the current SLC01 carries through 09.
