I'm looking at a couple wheelsets:

new American Classic Sprint 350 with CX spokes (and tweaked through a custom builder) -- 1290g

used DT Swiss 240s w/ IRD Niobium rims and Aerolite spokes -- 1380g

The AC350 are half again the price, but are new and the guy who'd order them is a custom wheel builder and would retention everything. Any thoughts on the 2?

They're both fine for your riding purposes. Now go buy!

Personally I'd buy 240's... but I like AC also. Weight isn't everything. 'nuff said.
