I'm looking at maybe getting a set of wheels. My budget may be limited to used, but most hubs seemed to be spec'd for Shimano. I found a great deal on a American Classic Sprint 350, but it has a Shimano cassette. Do the conversion cassettes work or am I asking for trouble? Can you easily switch out the hub body on AC and DT240s hubs?

This is the best IMO: Wheels Manufacturing Accelerator 10 Cassette

DT 240s hubs can easliy be switched out without any real mech abilites. The Free hub bodies runs about $55. It takes about 5 minutes to swap and no wheel re-dishing either!

yep ... DTs are much better for swapping out the body, plus a much better rear hub all round IMHO...
