Not to read too much into this, but I can't help it. The title, End ride, and it was a good ride with the picture. Wow. I first thought the picture a bit heavenly. The glow of the lights on the bench and the shadows cast a great mood. Then I saw the empty shoes, felt heavy. The door is open, the rider has moved on. If I am still a rider when I leave this earth, and I pray to be able to ride like I want, or at least want to ride like I can. Nothing could sum up the end of my ride quite as simply or beautifully as that photo.
