Recieved my new record 1" threaded headset. Used park headset installation tool and screwed up the fork race. The thin flange of the race broke.

Does one need a special campy installatiom tool? I also need a new race and seal. hs-re008 and hs-re006. Does anyone have one?

Buying individual parts from a Headset assembly will be difficult. Regardless of which brand.

You may want to contact Branford Bikes to see if they will sell you the individual parts. I know they sell rebuild parts for just about everything else Campy.

I've used the Park installation tool on my Threaded Record 1" headset and my Colnago Fork. I know Campagnolo makes tools but they are awfully expensive so I've always just purchased the Park versions. If there is a special tool from Campagnolo, Brandford would have it.
