Since there seems to be no want to buy section in the classifieds (or I'm just too stupid to find it) I figured I'd post this here, since I'm looking for a campy component.

So as to what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a set of old Campy 8 speed shifters. Record would be best, but Veloce or up is fine too.

The deal is my old Ultegra 8's are about to relly give up the ghost and I don't feel the need/desire to go to 9 or 10 speed. There's little weight difference and between my 53/39 and 12-21 I find I have all the gearing options I need right now.

I'm looking for Campy because I'd like to be able to rebuild them when they start to crap out on me.

Check Bike Nashbar. I picked up a 8 speed cassette from them a while back.

Also check out Ebay. There is usually a good assortment of Campy 8 speed out there for sale.

Go with current Campy 10 speed Veloce levers and have Brandford bike put in an 8 speed gear. That way you can switch between 8,9 or 10 speed. Then use the Shiftmate on ebay to convert your shifters from Campy to ShimaNo. Good luck.
