56 w/out pedals was about 20.5 on a topeak digitial scale stand, about the same weight as their similarly priced aluminum road bike

Just bought one this last spring (the 2003 model) in a 56 as well. Very nice ride qualities as stock bike. Still experimenting with saddles but the BG that came with it is the best for me so far.
Cheers,

I have a 54cm 04 model that weighted 21.5 on a topeak digital scale, HOWEVER this is not the complete bike. The drivetrain, and wheels are off my 2000 Specialzed Allez, the rest of the bike is the same as the full Comp Cr-Mo (bars, stem, saddle, seatpost, fork, tires, etc.). Also this includes my Shimano old A525 (I think) one sided SPD pedals that weigh to much.

Hope this helps.

My 54cm weighed in at 19.5 lbs w/o pedals.
