How sad if Museeuw is really a doper. One of the all-time greats exposed as the Lyin' of Flanders? Let's hope it is not true.

considering he's retired. why would he have doping products, or is this from an earlier raid?
otherwise is he doping riders as a assistant DS?

LVB, contacted by AFP, would neither confirm nor deny the news from the

Belgium agency, which gave no source

Casagrande, former world number 1 was declared unfit to start the Vuelta due to a high hematocrit level. Seems like every other big name pro rider this season is being caught for something.

Come on, old school Flandrian hardman, of course he doped, just like probably every single rider of any note prior to '98 and the Festina affair. Read Willy Voets's book, back in the day, the same doctors doping the riders were the one's conducting the medical controls! Prior to the late 90's there was absolutely no reason not to dope, you had to be stupid to get caught, and it was what a professional did, the only one's who viewed it as cheating were naive fans.

As for Casagrande, an elevated hematocrit is not a failed drug test, although he has at least 1 (if not more) of these in the past for testosterone.

Dwayne Barry is exactly correct.

The reality is, everyone that raced against Johan had the opportunity to dope as well, and if they didn't then they were knowingly setting themselves at a potential disadvantage, so no excuses if they were left behind in the 'bus'.

The thing that would piss me off is if they try to take Johan's wins/titles away. He earned them just as much as any rider did.

Long Live Flanders Hardmen!
