Well it is September, and I think that calls for another round of bike porn... I figure lots of people have some phat new rides!
Woo Hoo! Cross season is here!
In regards to the other thread as well, my stealthy new ride is 18.4 lbs.

I've just built my felts up in the last few weeks and can't be happier (no pics yet). Given the price for frame/carbon fork/headset/seatpost(okay, it sucks)/cable hanger is right around $600-$700 (depending who you buy it from), I'm surprised this frame doesn't get more play. Did you get your's complete? Because that's a sweet deal, too.

I got the frameset and built it up. I am also surprised I haven't seen more of these, even a complete is a great deal. Mine is full Ultegra9, Ti BB, American Classic crank with compact rings, Chris King hubs, Shimano brakes, etc., and I just love it! The rear cable hanger does blow... but works for now. I have had good luck with my post, so we shall see. But it is a killer deal for what you get, and this thing is ready to go! Fast, light ride, with excellent handling, nice and stiff helped with my small size.

I'm a campy guy, so both are filled with that stuff. Pauls brakes, and Salsa levers on the tops. I'm switching to FSA Energy compact cranks today. Wheels on the #1 bike are record/open pro, and #2 has Ksyrium Elites. Don't know weights on either, but surprisingly light. I love the fork - nice and stiff. I may be mistaken, but from the looks of it, Salsa specs the same fork on their frame. The seatpost, which I was warned about from someone at Felt (shhh!), is something you should switch out because they've had problems with breakage. I tried one for a few rides, but I couldn't even get it to stay in place. My Campy carbon works fine and looks better to boot! #2 has a Thompson post. Come to think of it, if your's is aluminum, don't worry about it. It's the carbon one's that are the problem. I heard the newer frames will come with aluminum but don't know that for sure.
Either way, it's a high quality frame at a great price. The included front cable hanger is a nice touch, but unfortunately I had already purchased two before the frames arrived. Oh well, always nice to have extra parts. People should really take a look at these frames, then again, maybe not as I kinda like having something different from everyone else!
I have a new bike that will be ready by Mon. latest (I hope). Just waiting for the tires to get here.
So until I have new pics of it, I'll post some REAL "bike porn" for ya's!
As they say in France: "Oooh la LA!" :D
