Good parts and a good bike for $350? Be concerned with "good enough". :)

You'd probably get much more for your money if you buy a used rig. Check the classifieds on this forum, or www.craigslist.com

Otherwise, you can probably get an adequate bike for that money, after which you can decide if you need more bike and budget for it when the time comes.
