I just purchased my first road bike this past weekend. Supergo was having a big sale for Labor Day weekend. I ended up purchasing a Cannondale R800 with Shimano 105 components and added Shimano R600 pedals.

I'm brand new to road bikes and real excited and happy about my purchase. I've been a runner for 2 years and actually purchased the bike to supplement my training and to ease the constant pounding on my knees. I'm sure riding will eventually take more of my time from running but I'm OK with that.

I'm really excited to start riding and will definitely start educating myself on this website to the sport of road biking.
