Continental is notorious for exaggerated sizing. No surprise. My 700x32 Twister is also considerably smaller than the stated size - and at 450g for the wire-bead model seems excessively heavy - but other than that it is a GREAT tire, with low rolling resistance on the road and great grip in all conditions from pavement to gravel to even gooey mud.
