I read in a magazine that the BMC Streetfire SSX was a Taiwan made frame. I was wondering if the same is with the Road Racer SL 01 and the Team Machine SLT 01. Just wondering...

They look like great frames plus the Crosslock Skeleton adds to the coolness factor. :)

Joe, a local bike shop has one. I'm leaving right now to go check it out.
I will check on where the frame is made.

Joe, they are swiss made, at least the team machine and the slt 01. I was amazed at the bike, its just beautiful. quality looks very good as well, not perfect, but 9/10. I didn't have the chance to test ride it, but I do plan on doing that. I liked it so much, it scared me. I really don' t need another bike, but damn i want one!

and it was very nice; different and it looked very robust. Unfortunately, no opportunity to test ride.

There is no such thing as not needing another bike! :D Accepting that you have a need for a new sexy bike is phase 1. Once this is satisfied, it's time to enter phase 2 of the bike acquisition process. Obsession. It makes the whole journey of getting a bike more exciting. Right now, my short list includes a Merlin, the ORBEA Onix and a BMC SL is trailing at the end. :)

So, if I get a financial window next year, I'll head out for another steed. It will give me the time I need to reaserch for the best deals.

Let me know if you get to test ride the BMC.

Right now i'm looking at a all carbon BMC,no seatpost as it looks, just carbon built to the right height with the seat on it. TH with nike show covers and a USA jersey and shorts.

Not even. The one i'm looking at Has the big, white BMC on the downtube.Yellow at the downtube and top tube. Some green in the middle of top tube ans yellow at the top tube meets the carbon thats formed as the seatpost,at least thats how it looks. He's sitting on the nose of the seat to. Looks like Zipps but its moving so i'm not sure. It might not be carbon but it sure looks like it. It says its what he rode to the gold in the time trial.
