I'll be in France in a week, if the weather is nice, I would like to take a day to do some riding. Does anybody know where I might be able to rent a decent road bike? Also, what are some good routes to try? I will be in the Loire Valley area from Sept 20-Sept 23.

Information on other nearby towns may be helpful as well, I'm not restricting myself to starting in Tours.

I may also take a morning to ride in Paris, I plan to be there on Sept 23-Sept 25. Suggestions for Paris would be welcome as well.
