Hi fellow Ontariroadians,
I'm planning a recreational road trip in southern Ontario perhaps near Caledon to see the changing leaves etc.. this fall (2004). I would like to hear responses of people's favourite routes that would take me through forested areas or along the escarpment to view the beautiful scenery. I'm looking for routes with reasonably good pavement and low traffic volume. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

I know of lots of nice road rides, but they're west of Caledon around north Burlington, Milton and Georgetown. Nice roads, great scenery and some nice hills, too. The escarpment runs on quite an angle through here, so you have to take a lot of different roads. Let me know what area you're interested in.

If you are looking for some great rides, go up to Haliburton. New paved roads every where with nice wide shoulders and very tough climbs all over the place. There isn't a flat road anywhere, good to test out how the year went :D
