Cerddwyr 10-05-2004, 12:11 PM depending on when you're up there. I am going to be in Vegas the first week of December, and am thinking it might be worth boxing my bike (I had hoped to rent, but I am on the short side, so I suspect I will be hard to fit on a high end roadie rental). Is the weather likely to make riding an option that time of year? Ideally I would like to do a pair of centuries that weekend after Thanksgiving, then spend the rest of the week at my conference. Best, Gordon mikesocker 01-08-2006, 02:03 PM My wife and I are going to Vegas for a conference in early February. We are taking our foldable road bikes with us for a couple days of riding before the conference. Did you ride at all on your trip or was it too much of a hastle? Any advice? Our team has grown very fast in the last year and do regular rides on weekends and club rides go on even during the week i believe. We would be more then glad to have you join us on a few rides. There are not alot of rides out here but there are a few great ones that would make bringing your bike out here for, worthwhile. Good thing is the time of year you are comming out is the perfect times to ride, not as many tourists and not as many drivers out by the lake, so ridign out there is still safe and enjoyable. |
