I'm not trying to be snooty or anything...honest question since I don't understand. If he's tested positive in both the A/B then isn't that pretty straight forward? Is the UCI waiting on some sort of appeal? Are they waiting on the results from the independent study? I just don't understand the next steps, i.e. how long before something happens?

I think the National Federation has to handle the case...and it is a case, as he gets tried by USA Cycling and not in the media or roadbikereview.com. Hey, maybe he'll pull an ace out of his sleeve...not like Tyler hasn't surprised us before.
But in any case, he's suspended by Phonak so he's not going to be racing anyway.

Any idea how long before we hear the results next steps? i.e. How long before something happens publicly re: the trial? My guess is they're going to get the second opinion on the blood very quickly so they can have those results for the hearing in front of USA Cycling.

I have read somewhere that it shall be decided on Sep, 29, but I don't remember the source and can not prove it creditability.
