I live in Edgewood, Ky and am riding out toward Maysville this weekend. Specifically, a friends' farm just past Minerva, KY which is between route 8 and the AA highway. I've ridden a route along Rte 177 to Rte 10 numerous times. In fact, I'm kind of bored riding it. I was thinking of riding all the way along rte 8 through Newport, Silver Grove, to Augusta up 1235 thru Minerva to my friends farm. I haven't been on the Campbell County side of Rte 8 in a decade....is it rideable??? Is this a reasonable route?? Any guestimate on mileage from Newport to Augusta?? Mapquest is no help on the mileage since it always swings me up to the AA.
