Any standard road crankset will work. Just use 1 chainring on either the inner or outer postion. The only thing you need to buy is short stack BMX chainring bolts. They are usually $5-10 at an LBS. I prefer using a standard road crankarms because it's easier to get a good chain line with the two ring postions.

:p Cheap is good. Mine has a cheap Sakae (sp?) 165m crank. Works fine.

just file some regular ones down or use spacers, if you have them.

Visit Danscomp.com and check out Dotek cranks. Any size from 145-175 for 30 bucks.

I ditto what others have said and add that you should select one with sufficient BB choices to get a good chainline. I got brand new tiagra for $30 dollars. You Do not have to spend alot of $$
