Does anybody have inside skinny on the Giant OCR carbon frames? How will they compare to the TCR frames? I want to buy a carbon bike and the carbon OCR 2 sounds like a good deal. I have read on these posts that Giant carbon bikes are a great value. I'm also looking at a Specialized Roubaix with ultegra. Are Giant and Specialized pretty similar in quality of the carbon frames?

I've answered my own question by looking at the Giant '04 supplemental catlog. The OCR carbon is the same as the TCR carbon. Just different frame design.

According to the guy at the LBS, the OCR will put the rider in a more upright position than the TCR, similar to the Specialized Roubaix design. I don't know the exact specs, but the top tube will slope upward more and the head tube will be higher. Trek is doing the same thing with the Pilot line coming out for '05. The base OCR composition bike will be priced at $1,599 with Tiagra and 105 components. The OCR 2 will be $1,999 with the Ultegra 10 speed package.
