No one is suggesting abortion is a viable alternative to birth control. This administration has consistantly been about abstinence only and repressing birth control information. What if your daughter was raped and impregnated? Would you want her to carry that baby to term.

Why so selective about one type of death? Lives are sacrificed all of time on the free market alter. Hell, chemical waste from dry cleaners (like yours- I know you were making a lame joke)is known to produce mortality above background. Does that make you a murderer? The Clear skies initiative allows tons of pollutants into the air that we know will result in peoples death. The war in Iraq may have killed 100,000 civilians(16,000 conservative estimate). We aren't trying to set up an FC State in Iraq. We're trying to establish a Muslim democracy. Have I said anything about the islamic faith? I'm talking about the practice of killing that some extremist muslims are employing on a regular basis right now.

it's funny as they tried (3rd time) here in my town to do an end-around of the ole sep. of church and state. We have a PUBLIC Park that is a veterans memorial. Funny thing, it has a big cross, so Govt. says it has to go (following Constitution). What the FC's tried to do was 'buy' the land in the Park under the cross (about a 20'x20' square). Problem being it's in the middle of a Public Park, and 20x20 isn't a lot and furthermore it is about as expensive a piece of real estate as you could imagine(would be worth millions). So it's failed twice and this Nov. they put the 'sale issue' up to vote. It failed and now they'll have to move the cross to a Church about 200 yds away and they'll actually build a veterans memorial. what they don't realize is how lucky they are they lost. If it had passed land would have gone to high bidder. I was already prepping forms so I could get Saudi's to buy land so they could erect large Star and Crescent so these hypocrits could know what it feels like to have to be subject to a Symbol they may not like. I was also gonna contact Marilyn Manson, could you imagine a giant flaming pentagram atop one of the wealthiest and highest points in San Diego? The irony oh the irony.
