Hi All,
Our ride tomorrow will out to Newcastle and back. This is a great ride along country roads and has a small challenging hill at the turnaround called Indian Hill. From that point, the return is down Auburn Folsom Blvd. The overall route is approximately 40 miles and is a combination of flat and rolling hills. For anyone that is under time constraints, there will be a shorter variation that will avoid Indian Hill. There will be an "A" group for faster riders and a "B" group for slower paced riders. We will go out Barton and other country roads and then return via Auburn Folsom.
Here are the Ride Details:
Date: Saturday, November 6th
Bike Route: Folsom Streets to Barton and other roads to Newcastle. Returning via Auburn-Folsom
Geared for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced riders. There will be an A group for Strong Intermediate and Advanced riders and a B group for the rest of the group.
Meeting Location: Large Parking Lot in Historic Folsom across from Karen's Bakery, Zinfandel Grill, and Bicycles Plus. Corner of Gold Lake Drive and Leidesdorf.
Route Distance: Approximately 40 miles for the full version, 30 miles for the shorter variation.
Route Terrain: Flats and Rolling Hills
Starting Time: 7:45am, Riders will leave at 8:00am sharp
Please bring helmet, water, and food.
