Let the bombs rip...The Bush administration is about as predictable as the sun coming up the next day. Here's to hoping the bullets and bombs find the bad guys and leave the innocent guys alone even though I know that is never going to be the case.

In retrospect, I'm so glad Bush won. It's his mess, let him try to clean it up. If Kerry had to do it, he'd get blamed for all of Bush's failures and get none of the credit for any success.

As I see it, we're sitting in the cat bird seat. The best that can happen is for Bush to succeed overwhelmingly. The best that can happen is for Bush to fail overwhelmingly.

My sentiments exactly...Almost a win:win situation, though based on the last 4 yrs my money is on failure

It would be nice to see Bush go down if the country's future wasn't at stake.

Although I'm not always convinced of this, I don't think our very survival as a nation is at stake. Not quite yet, anyway. I think we will continue our slide down, and I'm not sure where we will end up. But I think we will do what is necessary once the majority of us recognize the crisis. Perhaps we need hurricane W to devastate the country before people can see how bad the situation is.

4 years of cut-regulated emissions and govt funded tree cutting is a load of damage.

Believe me, I share your concern. I am sick over the expected raping of the environment, the lack of higher fuel standards, etc. But the majority spoke and it's time they get what they voted for. Yeah, it's f*cked up but you can't save those who won't be saved. It will be interesting to see if the "useful idiots" who voted against their own interests will ever realize it.
