Move to the West coast if you are looking for good rides... Although Quebec also is amazing for riding, just not going to get much riding in through the months of Dec through March :D So what's up, are we expecting the other 50 mil who didn't vote for Bush to come hang out in Canada for the next 4 years?

If Canada was South fo the border instead of North, I'd have the sale sign up in two seconds...
YES I'm one of the 50 million.... I WAS thinking of moving to Gainesville Florida.... But I can't see my self liven with those Hollier that me, chuckle heads.... So its CANADA form me....

I'm not familiar with Canada, nor any other country As a matter of fact.... Hmmm... The wes coast.... Yeah I could handle that.... Where is French most spoken... Rather where is English most spoken...

The other alternative is Italy.... I'm 1/2 Italian and would like to return to my roots.... I'd have to buy campy parts first but I could handle that....

Greater Vancouver is the place to go for riding. Whether on or off road. Vancouver Island is also nice and temperate. For road riding you can ride year round (as long as you can handle the rain from October to March). Lots of hills and good groups to ride with -the Knight street ride is good and very high level sometimes. In fact, Alison Sydor, Sara Neil, Brian Walton, Alex Steida, and other world class pros were on the rides when I was. Roland Green is from Vancouver Island, as well.

MTB riding is also great as Vancouver is hemmed in by the coast mountain range. Grouse mountain is nearby and Whistler is also a reasonable drive away. MTB is more popular and many high end brands are in Vancouver -Syncros, Rocky Mountain, Brodie, De Kerf.

So this ex-pat in Japan says to you: if you want out of the USA -get out while the getting is good and your dollar is still at a favorable exchange rate.

Peace!
