I know they are more popular with the 'cross crowd, but I was offered a good deal on a set of carbon road cranks. I have a feeling it's a good deal b/c they can't sell 'em to roadies.
Thanks in advance.

I haven't riden them, but I have seen the Rouleur Carbon cranks... they are sweet! But they have only been on the market for about 5 weeks now, which is more likely the reason you don't see them. On top of being new on the market, they aren't out in any big quantities yet either. As far as carbon cranks go, these are some of the nicer ones on the market for the money. They are a two piece design and use an outboard bearing BB unit like the Dura-Ace 10 cranks. Here's a pic of them if anyone hasn't seen them yet.

I forgot to mention that they come in both regular and compact chainring designs and they should retail for right around $300 (bottom bracket included) give or take about $20 depending on where you get them. As of yet, they only have the bottom brackets in English threading, they say the Italian cups will be available by the 1st of the year.

it will be interesting to see how they compare to the new FSA MegaExo cranks. i guess those are closer to the $400 range.
