Stop by Titus in Tempe east and adjacent to Phoenix. They've let customers ride their bike for a day for free. I'm sure they can set you up w/ rental plan for cheap. Call them up and talk to Alan or Chris (owner) and tell them your situation. They'll be more than happy to accomadate you, even if you don't buy. They're all about customer service.
