just wanted to report i just got a fiizk vitesse saddle from cambria... $60 i think. i've used selle italia flites forever on mtn and road bikes. recently i've upped my mileage and would have some rear end/leg numbness after 40miles or so. nothing a little standing wouldn't help. but the flite was sagging.... so i thought i'd try a new saddle.

the fizik vitesse is not like the fancier arione or aliante with those "wings". it's actually pretty standard leather on foam. more foam and cushion than the flite and also wider in the back. the cut out is pretty aggressive so it still has the minimalist racer style, but it fits me great! my recreational 175lb ass fits this seat perfectly. the flite was alwasy a bit narrow for me and i was debating on getting a max flite.

weight's a little more than the ti flite, the vitessse i got was 250gms for the cromoly. but wow, i love how the fit.... and it was only 1/3 of an aliante.

jksu, I also have picked up a Vitesse because I like the width. You might also like to try the Avocet o2 40M if you like this type of wider in the rear saddle. This saddle has an old version and a newer version. I found the new version to be horrible, called Avocet and was able to return it for the older version which is still being made. I realize everyone has different saddle needs, but in the wide saddle department this one is very comfortable.
